A match made in barbecue heaven.
Mike had been tinkering in the backyard for many years before finding the Northeast Barbeque Society (NEBS) and earning the nickname ‘BBQ Mike’. Through competitions, BBQ Mike gained a lot of experience cooking regional barbecue. Experimenting with different flavors and local ingredients lead BBQ Mike to develop a unique New England barbecue flavor that is all his own.
Christine always enjoyed creating menus and hosting dinner parties for friends and family. In 2009, she obtained her Culinary Diploma from Cambridge School of Culinary Arts (CSCA) and began working as a personal chef offering customized menus.
As their “foodie love” flourished, they became contenders in barbecue competitions locally and across the country. While working this circuit for five years, they perfected their award-winning recipes, rubs, and sauces. BBQ Mike was even selected to complete on the National TV Show, “BBQ Pitmasters”.
